Tammie Marie Cogbill


Was born August 5, 1971 to the late James and Joyce Cogbill in Philadelphia, Pa.


 


      Tammie was educated in the Philadelphia Catholic school system. Tammie chose to further her education at the National Education center where she studied to become a medical assistant Tammie continued her education at the DPT school of business where she completed her certification for medical billing, coding and transcript.


 


    Tammie worked for Philly Direct as a retention specialist for several years where she discovered she had a passion and love in the telemarketing field. Tammie took pride in any and everything that she did. 


 


    Tammie loved people. No matter where she went you knew she was there either you heard her or you were drawn to her beautiful trade, those freckles. Yes, Tammie was loud but, loving she had a forgiving heart and through all her pain she saw her happy ending. Tammie embraced the spirit of every child that she met that's what kept her young at heart. Tammie enjoyed cooking, watching the latest rap videos and reality tv shows.


 


Tammie had a love for her grandsons that you couldn't imagine and anticipated the moment she would be able to enjoy spending fun times with them. Although her physical life has ended her memory, outgoing personality and presence will live on in those who loved her and all who knew her. 


 


Tammie leaves to mourn her significant other Harold “Mont” Williams, 3 children Corey J. Underwood, Khalil A. Nelson jr. and Kierra T. Peterson. 3 grandchildren, Keyshawn Lavender, Sabir Underwood, and Yasir A. Nelson. 3 sisters Lola Cogbill, Robin Cogbill and Cindy Bass. 2 nieces,Tamara Baker and Carson Bass, 2 nephews Michael Cogbill and David Cancel jr. and a host of aunts uncles and cousins.


  


Tammie also held a special place in her heart for place in her heart for Dorian her brother from another and Theresa Jefferson-Hale “Aunt T”
