A YESSA WARNISHA EDWARDS was born on August 6, 1993 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Episcopal Hospital. Ayessa who was also known as “Poopie,” attended the Philadelphia public school system. In 2011, Ayessa graduated from Frankford High School. In 2012, Ayessa attended and graduated from the Philadelphia Job Corps where she studied and received a Certified Nursing Assistant

Certificate.

In 2012, Ayessa started working as a CNA where she loved taking care of people. Ayessa was vibrant and funny, she loved to dance and play cards. She was really good at braiding hair. Everyone would come to her to get their hair done. One her favorit hobbies was to shop especially when she was buying stuff for her little sister. She loved and enjoyed playing with her dog, Nina. Ayessa loved to have fun and let's not forget she enjoyed working. She was all about her money.

Ayessa was preceded in death by her father, Warren Edwards; two uncles, Willie Edwards and Wadell Edwards, Jr.; two grandfathers; Wadell Gore and Ivory Foster.

Ayessa leaves to mourn: her mother, Natasha Smith; step- father, Charles Palmer, three sisters, Shydera Edwards, Nashay Edwards and Ashlee Palmer; two nieces, Avery Ramsey and Ry'li Ellis; six aunts, Ashlee McCoy, Omega McCoy, Katoya McCoy, Roberta McCoy, Linda Brunson and Wanda Edwards; seven uncles, J Andrew McCoy, Nathaniel McCoy, Tavon McCoy, Earl Edwards, Nathaniel Edwards, James Edwards and Jerome Edwards; two grandmothers, Louise Foster and Daisy Edwards; one grandfather, Tashon McCoy; godmother, Ayessa Jackson; best friend, Shaquilla Harmon; a hosts of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends.
