Obituary for Gerald Stewart The family sorrowfully regrets to inform you of the passing of my father Gerald Stewart who went to be with our Lord on April 3, 2017. Gerald was born on April 1, 1966 in Philadelphia, PA to the late William & Barbara Stewart. Gerald (AKA) Jerry was educated in the Philadelphia public school system. Gerald was a member of the New Inspirational Baptist Church; he truly loved his church, and his pastors; as well as the members. Jerry loved to dance, sing, and listen to gospel music; he kept a smile on everyone’s face and was a joy to be around. Gerald was loved by many and he gave love in return. Gerald had a sacred place in his heart for his daughter Lacricia, and his grandsons Jayden & Jayquan (who became one of God’s angels on December 3, 2015). Gerald was proceeded in death by his father and mother William & Barbara Stewart, brothers: Bruce, Kevin, & William Jr (Fatman), sisters: Patricia, Wanda, Veronica, & Rosalyn. Gerald leaves many to embrace and cherish his memories: his daughter LaCricia , Son-in-Law Daniel, grandson Jayden, sisters Beverly, Marie, & Brenda, brothers Charlie, Nate, God-brother Tai’Kwan, and a special nephew Frank Stewart, and host of other nephews, nieces, cousins, friends & family. He will be greatly missed by many.
